Pratapgarh
We were four, when we reached Pratapgarh , a small village. Satya, Babu, Pallab ( My elder brother), and me, we landed in Gede to reach Bahirgachi Halt by a passenger local train. The train was with huge coal engine, a rush of black smoke and high pitch whistle. I was in half-pant with two big pocket. The small imagination of planned creativity, I used to carry my tools in those two pockets.
I was 11 and I thought, I was grown up. The first day, I faced a 'Dim Light' , a kind of Lantan , lighting the house. The Pratapgarh still to have electricity for domestic use. It was the year after Indira Gandhi assassinated.
There was a bot-tola. We used to say, a khelar math. A primary school with small play groud. The ground could cover around 30 yeards x 20 yeards.
